SOAP&GLORY!

If you don't know my favorite store is TARGET :) well I was in there today and as you probley now they have the BEST clearance items! You go down an aisle and ba-bam there's those red stickered items shining in your face, you know you've hit the jackpot...well that is if anything that catches your eye is on clearance! Haha moving on today I found the greastest steal! I reached as high as I could to one of the top clearance shelfs and came across two once expensive items! To my disbelief it was SOAP&GLORY easy glistening Sweet Almond Dry Oil Body Gloss (retail price 12.99 clearance price 3.24!) & iFOAM ultra creamy Body Wash with antioxidant grapeseed oil, orange oil and M-SUDS moisture system! (retail 9.99 clearance price 2.48!) I then no longer needed what I originally went in Target for these where my new babies and they where coming home with me! lol. I have'nt really tried these yet but I know the Sweet Almond Dry Oil smells absolutly to die for, and the iFoam body wash smells great too! and looks very moisterizing which it claims...I know these products are carried in most targets but if you get a chance visit there chic, vintage website! Its really cute, and when I spend money on something I want it to look good..you can tell they take pride in there old london look because they where originally sold in the U.K and still are. I can't wait to try them out and get back to you on how they where and if there really worth buying! Stay tuned dolls ;)

Wonder Wall- How to Clean Dirty Makeup Brushes!

Ok so you've all probley seen the a million and one ways on Youtube how to clean makeupbrushes, alot include using cheap shampoos, or roughly scrubbing the mess out of them. If you own natural or synthetic brushes using harsh shampoos and unproper treament can mess with the longevity of your brushes. Makeup brushes are an investment, don't you want to use them as long as possible? I got to thinking what could be a good way to clean them properly, without any harsh effects...learn more below

Items You'll Need!

1.Dr.Bronner's Magic Soap Pure Castile Soap ( any scent will do!)

2. Dirty Brushes!

3.Warm Water!

Just so you know Castile Soap is an all natural glycerin based cleansing agent, the oils in it remove dirt but don't strip the natural properties your brushes need!

1. First off you can wet your brushes with warm water being careful not to go over the barrel of the brush, this can cause mold and mildew leading to your brush rotting off the base or creating that yucky wet dog smell!
2. Create a small pool of the Castile Soap, not too much alittle goes far!
3. Dip small eyeshadow brushes or any small brush...we're saving our big brushes for last!
4. After doing that, take 1 brush and lightly swirl in the palm of your hand! Your going to notice makeup running out of your brush...you can wet the brush if you want extra lather. You'll find out this stuff is very concentrated!
5. Then once you sure all makeup is removed (repeat if brush is really dirty!) rinse clean until your sure no suds are left!
6. Sqeeze all excess water out and lay them out flat to dry!
7. Now if you have any Foundation brushes take them out wet them, apply a little castile soap to each brush!
8. Let them sit for a mintute or two!
If your brushes or Foundation is like mine it tends to stain my brushes this way of cleaning should completely remove the stain. If it doesn't try leaving the castile soap on there longer or repetive washing with the castile soap.
9. Now that they've sat there for a few take the brush and rub them continusly being sure to remove all makeup!
10. If all makeup and soap is removed lay them flat to dry or for kabuki brushes fluff and let stand!
Hope you try this method, and try castile soap..I swear it has like a billion uses!

Little Miss Makeup ( for younger ages!)

My younger friends and little sister came up with a fun idea to do a makeup look for little girls...we tried to keep it light and simple but cute and sweet!
FACE:
To create this look I started by preping there faces with a light moisterizing foundation, next swept over it with a translucent powder..
with them smiling I applied a peachy blush
EYES:
I went over there eyes with a light pink shadow then a very *light liquid eyeliner, then applied mascara!
LIPS: I put a girly pink on there lips and then went over that with a clear gloss!
HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE LOOKS ~Maggie :)

Maggie's Favorites-Women Degree Sexy Intrigue Body Mist

This is like the best smelling cheap body spray I've ever smelt! ha..every time I'm in P.E girls are coming to me like what's that great smell, blah blah..and I hand them this, in a matter of seconds I'm in a cloud of this wonderful smelling stuff. This is so easy to carry around! I'm one of those people that love to smell good all the time, so right after p.e or whatever when I would love to be taking a long hot bath and can't insted I whip this little baby out and Volia' instant freshness! But I'm definatly not saying you should skip showers or anything like that..PLEASE SHOWER for the sake of us all! haha..but seriously give this product some attention it comes in more scents to but to me sexy intrigue is by far my favorite. So what more can I say?

Why we sould purchase more FAIR TRADE PRODUCTS!

Products that say fair trade? What on earth does that mean? I recently visted http://www.benjerry.com/activism/inside-the-pint/fair-trade/ curious of what fair trade meant. Well in easier terms the products that countries like africa, india, and mexico make that are traded and sent to america are often times not traded fairly. There imports are paid for cheaply and workers and harvesters do not get paid equal amounts of money for there work making products that we use or eat-such as cocoa, coffee, vanilla and so on. So that mean when you do buy something that is labled FAIR TRADE you can be positive you buying it so that the workers and harvesters are getting a fair amount of money for the product for you to enjoy! Let's stop this social injustice and buy more fair trade products!
Here's a website list of places that practice fair trade!

I'm in love with Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Lavender Castile Soap!

For all you vegan's or vegetarians out there, this soap is awesome! Its not tested on animals ethier! I've tried 3 scents so far-including Lavender which smells great, almond-which smells sweet, and peppermint which smelled exactly like peppermint! When they say this soap is 18 in 1 they arn't kidding! I've used it as a face cleanser, bubble bath, shaving cream, bath tub cleaner, shampoo, makeup brush cleaner, THE LIST GOES ON! I always go to target to get mine..I always get the 2 oz. bottle for 1.99 but I'am really considering next time purchasing 32 oz for 14.99! You really can't get a better multi-purpose soap that this. TRY IT!

Review- One 'N Only Argan Oil

Oh what can I say about this gold in a bottle? Its absolutely amazing! I purchased it on sale about a month ago at sally's beauty supply for 99 cents! To bad the bottle was only 0.25 fl. oz but I tell you great things come in small packages. So if you really know me i'm not really big into using many products in my hair because I hate having oily hair or buildup..well at first I was alittle worried as to what this Argan Oil might do? So I went with using only a drop-literally! I rubbed it in my palm and applied it on the ends of my hair thats where it was needed the most~! Haha! I've been using it like every week before and after I straighten my hair, it really does make a difference. And as long as you use alittle you hair won't be limp or greasy but still feel healthy and shiny! I love the smell too! This is a wonderful product with so many uses for hair as well as skin. It can be used wet or dry, color treated or permed hair. I can not wait to purchase a bigger bottle! I love Agan Oil!

Review-Nailene Couture False Nails 71165 Safari

I just purchased these nails today, they caught my eye because unlike the classic white french tip they stood out with a black and silver glitter zebra design! How cute, right? As soon as I got home I could'nt wait to glue them on..I opened the package to find 24 nails along with glue, mini buffer, manicure stick. Great, how convenient...at first I had a great amount of trouble gluing them on with one hand, yikes! but I finally managed to get all of them on perfectly..I've only had them on for a day but so far there holding up pretty well I'll keep ya posted if I find any flaws or chipping ect until then talk to ya later dolls :)

Welcome!

So I got to thinking... I've got alot of makeup, people always ask me about my makeup..So it clicked why not make a blog for all my friends or any other people interested in the makeup looks that I do or whatever. This blog will however not only be about makeup-but nails, skin, hair, etc. maybe even some random stuff every now and then?
